The Carolinas Machine
Knitters Guild requires a paid membership for access
to the group list and newsletter.
The purpose of the Carolinas Machine Knitters Guild is to inspire the
members of the guild and the machine knitting community at large. Originating
in North and South Carolina, we've grown to include people from all over
the United States, Canada and Europe.
We offer a monthly newsletter with patterns, hints and tips, and machine
information. We also have an active group list where we discuss knitting
projects, problems, and ideas.
Sponsor Ads are welcome in the newsletter.
All levels of machine knitters are welcome! Our members use Bond, Brother,
Passap, Singer, Studio, Silver Reed, Knit King, and other machines, with
and without garter carriaages, ribbers, and other accessories. Plastic,
Metal, you name it, anything with a carriage. Some make dishrags, and some
make coutoure...
One of the Guild Highlights has been the Machine Knitting Contest

table below. Please have a look at the knits created by the members of
the Guild.
